My morning was filled with so much joy. Finally, my baby has uttered his first word at 6:45 this morning. My husband and I were both surprised. We heard him babble/baby talk as early as 4 months, but today the word he uttered was very clear. I was nursing him when he suddenly stopped, looked at me with teary eyes and said "MAMA". My heart was pounding when I heard him say the word. He even repeated the word a few times. It was really a great morning for me.

I love my Firmoo
Finally, my Firmoo sunglasses has arrived.
I really love the design.
It really fits perfectly..
The sun glasses are of good quality. It even comes with a pouch, a holster, spare screws, and screw drivers in a key chain. I really love my firmoo. Now, I can walk under the heat of the sun without getting my eyes hurt.

waterfalls
This photo was taken somewhere in Hong Kong Park during our vacation last year. The place was really nice. We had to run as fast as we can so that we won't get really wet. It was really freezing cold during that time. We got wet but it was really fun.

My Favorite Pre Nup Photo
This is one of the photos during our prenup photo shoot. I really love this photo and this is really my favorite. The photographer asked me and my fiance (who is now my husband) to lie down on the water under the scorching heat of the sun. It was all worth it. I really love the result. This photo was taken at Midway Beach Resort in Initao.

Feels Like Winter
It's really freezin' cold. Feels like winter! Is it winter here in the Philippines? LOL Almost everybody's wearing jacket/coat to feel a little warmer. I really missed Mr. Sun today. It's been raining since morning. I really feel freezin' cold even with my coat on but I am pretty sure my little baby's lovin' the coldness of the day.

Thanks God for the Lightning
It is believed that mushrooms grow quickly when there is lightning. I really don't know why and I never bothered to do a research about it until one day, my colleague asked me about it. It was raining on that day and there was lightning so I was very happy. I was happy since I have my own mushroom garden at home and I had this thinking that mushroom really grow quickly when there is lightning and as I have observed that it's really true. To satisfy our curiosity, I googled the reason why but there is no exact explanation why. Some says it is because lightning accompanies moisture and changes in the atmospheric content that are beneficial to the growth of mushrooms. Whatever the reason is, I am just happy when there is lightning because it means a good harvest of mushrooms and I thank God for it.

Creamy Crabs
Just want to share to you my very own creamy crab recipe (another cooking experiment just this morning)
Ingredients:
1/2 kl mud crabs
5 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp brown sugar
6 cups water
3 cloves garlic
1 large onion sliced
1/2 cup thinly sliced ginger
2 medium size red bell pepper
ground black pepper (depending on your taste)
1 tsp soy sauce
ajinomoto seasoning (vetsin)
2 tbsp venigar
1 tbsp cooking oil
Cooking Procedure:
In a wok, cook the crabs in 4 cups of water. Boil until almost all the water evaporates
Remove the cooked crab and let it cool.
Cut into halves the cooked crabs.
In a wok, saute onions, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
Add the peanut butter
Add 2 cups of water and let it boil
Add the vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, seasoning, and dash of ground black pepper.
Simmer for 30 seconds
Add the cooked crabs and simmer for 2 to three minutes until the soup starts to thicken.
Serve hot.

Prioritizing Priorities
Prioritizing priorities has always been considered as one of the most hardest things to do. I've been always struggling on this for quite some time. It's really hard to prioritize your priorities especially when it involves money matters. We should learn to prioritize Sometimes we become stupid in distinguishing needs and wants especially when we are in a shopping center and a SALE is going on. We buy things that we really don't need and in the end, we run out of budget for the things that we really need. So we tend to look for an option where to get finances for our needs. As a result, we borrow money from other people and even apply for bank loans. We then become like ReBecca Bloomwood (character in Confessions of a Shopaholic) who has financial problems because of buying things which really aren't needed. Things like these can be avoided if we just learn how to prioritize priorities. Reality check:
- Spend money on things that we really need. (We can live without having the things that we WANT, but we definitely cannot live without the things that we NEED)
- Don't spend more that what you earn.
- Salary - savings = expenses NOT salary - expenses = savings
