It's been a long while since the last time I posted something here. I became busy with online work and at the same time, busy with mommy duties. Time flies so fast that my ohh so cuddly baby boy is now in his first grade in school. Now that he is big enough to take care of himself in school, I have enough time to take care of my blogsite while while he's in school. Mommy duites never ends even though he's big already. My husband drops him off in school every morning and it's my duty to pick him up after his class. I am also his private tutor. As a professional teacher, I make sure that everything is in balance. I give him enough time to play with his friends in school after his class. After playing, we will have an advance study of his lessons for the next day and do all the assignments so when we get home, we will have all the time to bond together by playing with his toys, reading a story book, or watch good cartoons for about 30 minutes and then he can have his afternoon nap  and I can do some house chores. Being a mother is not easy, but I know with God's guidance, I can do my responsibilities well.

Mulan

She is my first pomeranian puppy, a valentine gift from my husband. I named her Mulan after the brave disney character that I love most. My husband bought her from a very reputable seller in Manila and since this is my first time to take care of this kind of breed, the seller herself is always there to help and assist me whenever I ask some help and advices.

House Blessing

As Christians, it is very important to dedicate to the Lord what he has bestowed upon us. Today, we dedicate to God our house. It is a way of acknowledging that without Him, we will never experience these blessings.

Love and Life

I was cleaning the house and saw some of my stuffs in college (more than a decade). Inside my plastic envelope, I found a piece of paper where I copied an article entitled "Love and Life" from a book in the library which I forgot the title.

It hurts to love someone and not to be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. Maybe, God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be thankful for that gift. LOVE is when you take away the feeling, the passion, and the romance in the relationship and find out that you still care for that person.

One sad in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go. When the door of happiness closes, another opens. But oftentimes, we look to long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.

The best kind of friend is the one you can sit on the porch and swing with, never saying a word, and then walks away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had. It's true that we don't know what we've missing until it arrives. Giving all your love is never an assurance that someone will love you back. Don't expect LOVE in return. Just wait for it to grow in your heart, but if it doesn't, be content for you know that it somehow grew in your heart. There are things that you would love to hear that you would never hear from the person whom you would love to hear them from, but don't be so deaf as not to hear it from the one who says it from his heart. Never say goodbye if you still want to try. Never give if you still feel you can go on. Never say you don't love a person anymore if you can't let go. LOVE comes to those who still hope although they've been disappointed; with those who still believe although they've been betrayed; by those who still need to love although they've been hurt before; and to those who have the courage and faith to build trust again.

It gets only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone; but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth for even wealth fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it only takes a little smile to brighten your day. Hope you find the one who makes you smile. There are moments in life that you miss someone that you just want to pick him/her from your dream and hug him/her for real. Hope you dram of that special someone. Dream what you want to dream; go wherever you want to go; be what you want to be, because you only have one life and one chance to do all the things you ant to do. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to amke you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person, too.. A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a loving word may heal and bless. The beginning of love is to let those we love be just themselves and not twist them with our own image; otherwise, we only love the reflection of ourselves we find in them. The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything  that comes in their way. Happiness lies in wait for those who cry, those who are hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried for only they can appreciate the importance of the people who have touched their lives. LOVE begins with a smile, grow with a kiss, and ends with tears. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past. You can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. So live your life to the fullest so that when you die, you are the one smiling and everyone around you is crying. :)

Visiting my Hometown

It's been six months since the last time I went home in the province. This time would be so different. I will be traveling only with my baby. No husband since he is now working abroad, and no nanny with us since she has to go to school on Saturdays and she also has to take care of our dogs when I am away. I know that this won't be easy in my part since we will be commuting and I'll be bringing a backpack and a big trolley. I hope my baby will behave.

Pickled Papaya

My papaya plants are bearing many fruits so I decided to make pickled papaya or better known as "papaya atchara" to sell to my friends and colleagues to earn extra money. I was able to make 4 quartz of it. Some I sold, and some I gave to my family and my hubby's relatives. My friends loved my pickled papaya so I'm planning to make more this weekend.

Officially an INATAY (inay+itay)

It's been a week since my husband left abroad. He decided to grab the opportunity to work abroad to be able to save for the future of our family. Making that decision was hard for the both of us.

Things were really different now. I have to wake up very early in the morning to do the household chores my husband used to do such as feeding the dogs and cleaning their mess. I have to be a mother and a father to our one-year old baby boy. Although I have a nanny for my baby, I always manage to be a hands on mom when I am at home. The nanny's role is to take care of the baby while I am at work.

I am still in the period of adjustment as well as my baby. I know he is wondering why he haven't seen his "papa" for a week now. He always say papa especially when he sees a man. I know he missed his father they way I do. Especially when he wakes up in the morning, he used to lean on his papa's tummy while his papa rubs his head while talking to him. I always show my baby the picture of his papa and taught him to kiss and hug the picture. Now, whenever I hand him the picture, he would immediately smile at it, kiss and hugs the picture. I know that things are still not okay but I know that sooner or later we will get use to it and everything will be okay.

My Baby's New Sleeping Buddy

Got a package yesterday from my husband's aunt in Bacolod. Inside was a huge gorilla stuff toy for CeeJay which was sent by my brother in-law in the States. There were also other goodies for all of us. My baby was already sound asleep when we reached home that night and he was not able to see his new toy. So I just placed the big stuff toy beside him. early this morning when he woke up, he was surprised to see the big gorilla beside him. I thought he'll be frightened since it's bigger than him, but I was wrong. He just stared at the toy for few seconds, smiled, touched the face of the gorilla, and said "ngee". That was just his reaction and then he keeps on grabbing the big gorilla toy.

Take It or Leave It?

Just this afternoon, my boss called  me and asked me to read the message in his mobile phone. I had already the instinct that this is something about the vacant secretary position of his immediate superior and I was right. I read the message and I just simply smiled. My boss asked me if it is okay for me and without hesitations, I firmly said "No". My boss asked me again several times and said it's just temporary and I will be back to to my original work after a month, after his boss hire a new secretary. I was almost about to be convinced but I really stick to my decision and let my boss understand my reason. I am not capable to be his immediate superior's secretary since I cannot come to office early because I have to take care of the baby, I am really an oblivious type of person and I know it takes a person who's memory retention is almost perfect :), and I am a person who doesn't know how to keep quiet whenever a person scolds me without a clear reason. My boss' immediate superior is known to have a cranky attitude and I don't want to be stressed. Glad, my boss understand my side.

CeeJay's Big One!

My baby turned 1 yesterday. We are so thankful to God for the life of our baby and for making him super healthy. We even thank God for the success of our baby's first birthday party, for the provision, and for the people who love and care for our little angel.

Baby's First Trip to my Hometown Jimenez

My baby had his first trip to Jimenez last December 21. When we arrived at the bus terminal, he was so amazed upon seeing the big buses. He was very behaved during the trip. His grandparents were so happy to see him and celebrate our Christmas with them.

Baby's First Pajama Night

This month, the Blessed Hope Christian Community Church celebrates the Kids Month. Me and my husband are busy preparing activities for the kids since we are both in the children's ministry., me as a teacher and my husband the chairperson. Yesterday, we had the children's pajama night. Everyone's excited. As a teacher, I want to be with the kids during this event since we were not able to join last year because I was still pregnant. When I chatted with Jackie who's also a mom of a cute baby boy were chatting at the office, we decided to join the pajama night. We were excited to see what our babies reaction would be.

My baby was so amazed to see a lot of kids at the church. He was not able to sleep early. He was very happy to see everyone enjoying their activities. He used to sleep around 7 o'clock but during the pajama party, he stayed up late. He was able to sleep at 11pm and manage to wake up early at 5:30 this morning. My baby Ceejay and Jackie's baby Jeush were the youngest participant of the activity.. :)

copy kids

Children are really great imitators. They love to imitate what other people are doing. They want to eat what other kids are eating. Just like my baby, he wants to eat when he sees us eating. When he was on his sixth month, he had his first taste of food. He was hesitant at first. He was just able to take a little until one week. I have noticed that his appetite grow each week. He became more excited during meal time. He wants to eat the foods that we ate but I don't allow him since he is still a baby except fruits and vegetables. He loves to eat smashed fruits and vegetables. I am so thankful that I don't have a problem when it comes to feeding my baby. When I received my copy of the DVD Copy Kids, I was so excited to see my baby's reaction. As we were watching the video, I was observing my baby's reaction. He was salivating upon watching the different kids eating the vegetable. So I paused the video for a while and prepared some carrots for him. Then we went back on watching the video with a slice of boiled carrot in his hand. He began eating while watching the video.

Copy kids really works! They were right. It really help children develop their eating habits. So for those mommies out there who are having problems about their children's eating habit, it's time for you to grab a copy of the video and I'm sure, you'll children will learn to eat the foods the children on the video are eating.

This is it! My free Copy Kids DVD

When I got home from work last Friday, my baby's nanny handed me the receipt of the house rental and a claim card from the the post office. There was a stamp receipt on the upper right portion dated September 6, 2012. It means, the post office personnel received the parcel on that day and I wonder why it took it so long for them to notify me. But anyway, it's okay. I was just wondering where the said parcel came from since the sender is not indicated on the claim card.

So I went to the post office today to get the parcel. It was my free copy of the DVD of the Copy Kids. Wow, I am so excited to watch the video and see my baby's reaction. But the problem is, our DVD player is not working. I need to have it fixed. I hope I can have it fixed the soonest possible time so I could watch the DVD together with my baby. But if not, I still have another options, I might borrow a portable DVD player from a friend or we'll just watch it at my cousin's house. I am really excited.

Instant OB Gyne

My shih tzu dog was having labor pains which started last night. She was not able to sleep well the whole night. She kept on walking to and fro. He keeps on urinating maybe because of the pain she felt. I could remember the time when i was in labor pains when i was about to give birth to my baby. I cannot explain the pain as if you bones at the back are breaking. I know Queenie (my dog) was in extreme pain.

Early this morning, my husband prepared the crib which Queenie will use in giving birth.  Since he needs to go to work, he instructed me on what to do if Queenie gives birth and he's not yet at home. I was afraid of the idea of assisting the dog in her delivery but i had no choice. I was hoping that the dog will give birth when my husband comes home from work but it didn't happen. So I prepared the necessary things to be used. I was screaming since I don't like to see blood. Thank God I survived, I didn't faint. The delivery of the 2 puppies was successful. I am so proud of myself. I couldn't believe I did it!

Pursuing A Degree

A friend of mine want  to pursue a college degree since she was not able to finish one due to early marriage.  But the problem is she don’t have the time to go to a university/college to attend classes because of the fact that her residence is quite far from the city where the universities and colleges are located. Another problem for her is that she is “hands-on”  in taking care of her daughter so it would be impossible for her to leave her daughter for several hours just to attend classes. If she enrolls in a university/college, she would have less time to be with her daughter and she’s not yet prepared for it. She is sure that she would be absent minded inside the class. Good thing almost everything is possible with technology. Through the power of internet, everything seems easy and possible. She may be living away from the city but she is not deprived of internet access. Thanks to online educational program, her dream of pursuing a college degree without the hassle of leaving her daughter is within reach. Through the internet, she now has the opportunity to enroll in an on line school and finish a degree she wanted. She is now doing research on which is the best on line school where she could possibly enroll herself.

Page Rank 4/10

It's been a while since the last time I visited my blog. I was very busy these past few days doing office works. I just had the chance to open my blog today and to my surprise, my page rank raised to 4! Whew! What a surprise. I wasn't really expecting that my page rank will reach this far since it was 0/10 the last time I opened it few weeks ago. I really can't believe it when I saw it. To satisfy my confusion, I checked my PR over and over again, and yes, it's really 4/10. I am really happy with this. :)
