My mini garden

Gardening is fun. At first, I had my mushroom hanging garden. Now, I have my vegetable garden. Thanks to my father for his effort in planting these plants. I also have 3 dwarf papaya plant. I can't wait for them to bear fruit. Our garden have helped us financially not because I sell the harvested veggies. The purpose of my garden is for personal consumption. We have saved our money because instead of buying veggies from the market, we just have to pick them from our own garden and they are guaranteed fresh and fertilize and pesticide free! Looking forward of planting more veggies.

I HAVE DECIDED

I'm tired!

I'm tired of being overweight.

I'm struggling!

I'm struggling to really lose weight!

Now, I have decided to lose extra pounds and this time it's for real. I wanna wear those clothes I used to wear when I was still in shape. I know I can do this. I have done this before so there's no reason for me to fail this time. I know this won't be easy but I intend to do this and I know I can. It's just a matter of self discipline.I know I need to be healthy. Looking forward of having trimmed extra pounds weeks from now..

Starting weight: 67 kg

Target weight: 57 kg

a TV worth P2,800.

For 9 months, we've been wanting to buy a TV but we don't have enough money since it is not in our priority list. We do have a TV before, but we really don't own it. It was of my husband's aunt but when they left for Bacolod City to stay there for good, they brought with them the TV and left us another TV which unfortunately, didn't work after a day. Too bad! When I had my maternity leave, I just listen to the radio whenever I get bored or watch a movie in my laptop computer. It's really different when there's a TV. You'll get updated with what's happening in and around the globe through the news. My husband planned to buy a surplus TV since it's what we could afford. I was surprised when he called me this afternoon and he told  me to see him near the school where he's working because the pawnshop there is having an auction sale and he happened to see two TV sets. He cannot decide which one to buy so he needs my suggestion. I asked permission from the office to go out for a while to see my husband. So finally we decided to buy the TV (LG brand). We don't care even if it's an old model as long as it is still OK, the reception is clear.

Baby says "Papa"

It was just this week when we heard our baby say the word "Mama". I couldn't explain the joy I felt on that moment. Today, we heard him say a word, the 2nd word that he could clearly say. It was "Papa". He kept repeating the word loud and clear. I'm so happy for my baby's progress. I am happy and I know my husband is much happier. Finally, our baby knows how to say "Papa",

Cloth diapers

I've been wanting to buy cloth diapers for my little boy but I find its price quite expensive. When I examined a cloth diaper from a certain store in our place, I find it so expensive. Since I love to sew, I made my own cloth diapers for my baby. It was so easy and economical. I made my own cloth diapers out of the tee shirts I no longer used. For moms out there who want to make your own cloth diapers, it just so easy. You can find some patterns in the internet if you want. Happy sewing everyone!
